An ordinance amending the fees charged by the City of Janesville in the Building, Plumbing,
Electrical, and HVAC Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville, with a penalty,
injunctive and other relief for violations thereof as set forth in Janesville General Ordinance
Chapter 15.80
THE COMMOM COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 15.01.140 ofthe Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville
(Building Code) is hereby amended as follows:

GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA FOR PLUMBING PERMITS
Permit Fees shall be submitted per Section 15.01.140 of the Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Janesville.
B. The Following are Subject to Permit Fees:

All new fixtures and appliances as indicated on the application form furnished the
applicant, including water heaters and softeners;
All plugged or capped openings left for future installation of fixtures;
When any change is made in the water, soil, waste or vent piping which necessitates
the resetting of any plumbing fixture or appliance, each fixture so affected;
All building sewers (sanitary), building sewers (storm) and water services;
Clear water, water only, water and wastewater, or wastewater only meters and related
piping.
