An Ordinance renumbering Section 17.16.170 Violation--Penalty and creating a new
Section 17.16.170 Special Assessment Split Fee to charge and collect a fee for completing
special assessment splits at a level below parcel, with a penalty for violations thereof as set
forth in Janesville General Ordinance Chapter 17.16.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION II. Section 17.16.1~70'of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby created to read as follows:
"Section 17.16.1.70. Special Assessment Split Fee. For administrative work to
analyze and assign existing assessments to the new parcels, based upon the proposed land
division, including but not limited to complication by many factors, including remainder
parcels, resurveying of previously certified parcels, overlap, or other factors, the City of
Janesviile will charge a minimum fee $300, based on staff time required to fulfill such
requests. This ordinance and its fees shall take effect upon adoption."
