RESOLUTION NO. 2007-395
A resolution recognizing Tom Wellnitz for his loyal and conscientious service to the City of
Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Tom Wellnitz has served the City of Janesville from 2003 to 2007 as a Member
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wellnitz served as Council President in 2005 and as Council Vice President
in 2004; and
WHEREAS, during his term of office, Mr. Wellnitz has served as a member of various boards,
committees, and commissions in the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wellnitz's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their welfare has
characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wellnitz has always performed the duties of a member of the City Council
with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to Tom Wellnitz in sincere appreciation for his loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
