Special meeting of the Janesville City Council held in the Municipal Building on January 30,2007.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Tim Wellnitz at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Council President Tim Wellnitz, Councilmembers Addie, Brien, Brunner, DeGarmo, Tom
Wellnitz and Williams.
1. Action on a motion to authorize the Administration to proceed with emergency repairs to the
Wastewater Treatment Plant. Council member Tom Wellnitz moved to declare the air main repair,
at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, an emergency repair; thereby, waiving our normal bidding
process and to award the air main repair contract to H&H industries, Inc. in the amount of
$119,460.00 Councilmember DeGarmo seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
2. Action on a proposed resolution approving Clinton Machine Company, Inc. mortgages on
their property at 400 Freedom Lane as security for general business financing. Council member
Williams moved to adopt said resolution, seconded by Councilmember DeGarmo and passed
unanimously. (File Resolution No. 2007-372)
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
