An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located along South Terrace
Street south of Burbank Avenue from R3 and B2 to R1 with a penalty and injunctive relief
for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R3, General Residence District, and B2, Community Shopping District, to R1, Single and
Two-Family Residence District:
PART OF THE SE. 1j,¡ OF THE SE. 1j,¡ OF SECTION 11, T.2N., R.12E. OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY
OF JANESVlllE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOllOWS: Commencing at the SE. corner of said Section 11; thence
N.89°31 '28"W. along the South line of the SE. 1j,¡ of said section, 610.30 feet; thence N.oo06'W.
99.80 feet to a point of curve; thence Northerly, along a curve convexed Easterly, 90.32 feet,
having a radius of 115.0 feet and a chord bearing N.22°36'W. 88.02 feet to the most Westerly
corner of a Certified Survey Map as recorded in Volume 10, Pages 309-310, also being at the
place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence continuing Northerly along the
Westerly line of the B-2 and R-3 zoning district, 1210 feet, more or less to South line of a
Certified Survey Map as recorded in Volume 7, pages 83 and 84; thence S.89°27'E. along said
South line, 371.64 feet; thence S.oo06'E. 578.96 feet; thence N.89°20'54"E. 177.64 feet;
thence S.oo07'39"E. 446.47 feet to the NE. Corner of said Certified Survey Map; thence
S.89°54'W. along the North line of said Certified Survey Map, 231.31 feet; thence S.44°54"W.
Continuing along said North line, 163.72 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 10.4 acres,
more or less.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
