Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building on
December 26, 2006.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Tim Wellnitz at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Council President Tim Wellnitz, Councilmembers Brien, Tom Wellnitz, Williams, Brunner
and DeGarmo. Absent: Councilmember Addie.
CONSENT AGENDA
Minutes of the regular meeting of December 11, 2006.
Licenses; and Recommendations of the Alcohol License Advisory Committee.
Financial statement for the month of November, 2006.
Council President Tim Wellnitz stated that the Consent Agenda would be approved if there were
no objections. There were no objections.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Requests and comments from the public regarding items on the Agenda not requiring a public
hearing. There were none.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Requests and comments from the public on matters which can be affected by Council action.
Andreah Briarmoon, 339 South Locust Street, requested the chronic nuisance ordinance be
amended to address the following: owner liability, excessive fines and the lack of rates and limits
on the service call fee. She called for a reduction of the minimum fine to $25 and a study of the
impact of the ordinance on the homeless.
2. Matters not on the Agenda.
Councilmembers Williams and Tom Wellnitz requested the fourth floor municipal building
remodeling project (employee break room) be placed on a future Council agenda for discussion.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
