RESOLUTION NO. 2006-352
Whereas, Thomas O. Rogers, Jr. is retiring from City of Janesville
employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the
community for twenty-seven years; and
Whereas, Thomas O. Rogers, Jr. served as Director of Public Works for
twenty-one years, starting on December 17, 1979; and
Whereas, Thomas O. Rogers, Jr. also served as Assistant City Manager
for nineteen years, starting on August 17, 1987; and
Whereas, during Thomas O. Rogers, Jr. 's employment with the City of
Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated
conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with
competence, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of
Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Thomas
O. Rogers, Jr. for his twenty-seven years of loyal public service.
