RESOLUTION NO. 2006-341
A resolution vacating a portion of Morse Court.
WHEREAS, a street portion hereinafter designated and previously dedicated for street
purposes is hereby determined to be no longer needed for public use, and therefore, the
public interest requires the vacation of such street portion; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the traffic flow will not be impeded by the
vacation of such street portion; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on vacation of such street portion and notice
required by Wisconsin Statutes 66.1003 has been timely published and served; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JANESVILLE that the following described street portion be and are hereby vacated
and discontinued pursuant to 66.1003 and 62.22(lm), Wisconsin Statutes:
Part of the NE.1/4 of Section 18, T.3N., R.13E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin described as follows: Commencing at the most easterly corner of
Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map Document NO.1 067481 as recorded in Volume 13, Pages
195-198; thence north 30°20'51" west 1 03.38 feet; thence north 4°45'00" west 56.81
feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing north 4°45'00" west 145.42 feet; thence
north 53°49'53" west 43.83 feet to a point of curvature; thence northeasterly 199.15 feet
along the arc of a curve to the right, having a radius of 50.00 feet and a chord bearing
north 60°46'08" east 91.28 feet; thence south 4°45'00" east 211.13 feet; thence south
30°22'42" east 85.18 feet; thence north 53°33'10" west 115.35 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 18,568 s.f. of land more or less.
