RESOLUTION NO. 2006-316
Whereas, Roger D. Peck is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
thirty-one years; and
Whereas, Roger D. Peck worked for the Operations Department for 15 years as
Carpenter's Assistant and City Carpenter and then 16 years in the Park Department,
caring for the Janesville park system, and retiring as leadman II in charge of
construction; and
Whereas, during Roger D. Peck's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Roger D. Peck for
his thirty-one years of loyal public service.
