RESOLUTION NO. 2006-304
A resolution vacating a portion of Deerfield Drive.
WHEREAS, the street portion hereinafter designated and previously dedicated for street
purposes is hereby determined to be no longer needed for public use, and therefore, the
public interest requires the vacation of such street portion; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the traffic flow will not be impeded by the
vacation of such street portion; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on vacation of such street portion and notice
required by Wisconsin Statutes 66.1003 has been timely published and served; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JANESVILLE that the following described street portions be and are hereby
vacated and discontinued pursuant to 66.1003 and 66.22(lm), Wisconsin Statutes:
Part of the NW1,4 of Section 17 T.3N., R.13E. of the 4th Prime Meridian, City of
Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the southernmost corner of Lot 2 of Certified
Survey Map #1730740 as recorded in Volume 29, pages 159 to 168; thence
S.38°37'50"E., 116.04 feet; thence N.04°57'08"E., 269.38 feet; thence N.88°18'37"W.,
80.13 feet; thence S.04°57'08"W., 181.14 feet to the place of beginning.
