An ordinance establishing the zoning classification of land located on East Rotamer Road
east of North Wright Road to RI and Agriculture upon annexation.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
established as R1, Single and Two Family Residence District:
PART OF THE NE.l/4 OF THE NW. 1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TM P.M.,
CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at the North 1/4 comer of said Section 16; thence S. 0° 03' 15" W. along the North-
South centerline of said Section, 264.0 feet; thence N. 87° 34' 50" W. parallel with the North
line o£the NW. 1/4 of said Section, 300.0 feet; thence N. 0° 03' 15" E. parallel with said North-
South centerline, 264.0 feet to said North line; thence S. 87° 34' 50" E. along said North line,
300.0 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 1.8 acres, more or less.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
established as A, Agriculture District:
PART OF THE NE.l/4 OF THE NW. 1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TM P.M.,
CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the North 1/4 comer of said Section 16; thence S. 0° 03' 15" W. along the
North-South centerline of said Section, 264.0 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be
herein described; thence continuing S. 0° 03' 15" W. along said North-South centerline,
1054.93 feet to the SE. comer of the NE. 1/4 of the NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence N. 87° 36'
10" W. along the South line of said NE. 1/4 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section, 659.94 feet to the
SW. comer of the East 1/2 of said NE. 1/4 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence N. 0° 02' 20"
E. along the West line of said East 1/2 of said NE. 1/4 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section, 1055.20
feet; thence S. 87° 34' 50" E. parallel with the North line of said NW. I/4 of said Section,
660.23 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 15.97 acres.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
