RESOLUTION NO. 2006-277
A resolution vacating portions of Savanna Court.
WHEREAS, street portions hereinafter designated and previously dedicated for street
purposes is hereby determined to be no longer needed for public use, and therefore, the
public interest requires the vacation of such street portions; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the traffic flow will not be impeded by the
vacation of such street portions; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on vacation of such street portions and notice
required by Wisconsin Statutes 66.296 has been timely published and served; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JANESVILLE that the following described street portions be and are hereby
vacated and discontinued pursuant to 66.296 and 66.22(lm), Wisconsin Statutes:
PART OF SAVANNA COURT AS DEDICATED ON CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP AS
RECORDED IN VOLUME 28, PAGES 215 THRU 218, LOCATED IN THE NE. % OF
THE NW. % AND THE SE. % OF THE NW. % OF SECTION 21, T.3N., R.13E. OF THE
4TH P.M., CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN. Described as
follows: Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 2 of said Certified Survey Map;
thence S.50034'42''W. 25.85 feet; thence Northwesterly, along a curve convexed
Northeasterly, 58.71 feet, having a radius of 50.0 feet and a chord bearing
N.75°22'30"W. 58.71 feet to the Westerly line of said Certified Survey Map; thence
N.23°05'55"E. along said Westerly line, 5.36 feet to the Northerly line of said Certified
Survey Map; thence S.87°26'15"E. along said Northerly line, 74.75 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 421 square feet.
