ORDINANCE NO. 2006-338
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located along the east
frontage of Bell Street and south of Interstate 90 with a penalty and injunctive
relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS
FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from M2, General Industrial District, to B4, Business Highway District.
Part of the NE.1/4 of Section 18, T.3N., R.13E. of the 4th P.M. in the City
of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin.
Described as follows: Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 3 of
Certified Survey Map Document No. 1067481, recorded in Volume 13 of
Pages 195-198 of Rock County Certified Survey Maps; thence north
55°35'03" west 442.71 feet to the centerline of Bell Street; thence north
36°11 '01" east 455.44 feet along said centerline; thence south 53°50'15"
east 479.51 feet; thence south 3°50'55" west 123.17 feet along the
westerly right-of-way of Interstate 90; thence north 55°34'22" west 113.55
feet; thence south 34°24'00" west 334.58 feet to the place of beginning.
Containing 4.689 acres of land, more or less.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
