An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property adjoining
the Northeast Regional Park and located west of Town Hall Road to R1 upon annexation.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established
as R1, Single-Family Residence District.
PART OF THE EAST Ì'2 OF THE SE.1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N., R.13E. OF THE 4TH P.M.,
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
Described as follows: Commencing at the SE corner of said Section; thence N.88°34'40'W.
along the South Line of the SE.1/4 of said Section, 33.03 feet to the West Right-of-Way Line of
Town Hall Road also being at the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence
N.88°34'40"W. continuing along said South Line, 1290.35 feet to the East Line of Prairie Wood
Estates Seventh Addition; thence N.Oo55'13"W. along said East line and along the West line of
the East Ì'2 of the SE.1/4 of said Section, 2639.35 feet to the East-West Centerline of said
Section; thence S.88°35'35"E. along said East-West Centerline, 1290.08 feet to said West Line
of Town Hall Road; thence S.Oo55'32"E. along said West Line 1807.76 feet to the North Line of
a Certified Survey Map as recorded in Volume 5, Pages 36 and 37; thence S.89°54'33'W.
918.18 feet to the NW Corner of said Certified Survey Map; thence S.Oo55'32"E. 182.71 feet to
the SW Corner of said Certified Survey Map; thence N.89°54'33"E. along the South Line of said
Certified Survey Map, 655.62 feet to a jog in said South Line; thence S.Oo55'32"E. along said
jog, 120.15 feet; thence N.89°54'33"E. continuing along said South Line, 262.56 feet to said
West Line of Town Hall Road; thence S.Oo55'32"E. along said West Line, 529.08 feet to the
place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
