REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2006-312
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located at 3929 Huntington
Avenue from R1 to R3M with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set
forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District, to R3M, Medium-Density Residence
District.
Part of the NW% of Section 16, T.3N., R.13E., of the 4th Prime Meridian, City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOllOWS: Commencing at the southwest corner of Outlot 2 of Huntington
Place as recorded in Volume 32, Pages 514 and 515 in the Office of the Register of Deeds,
Rock County, Wisconsin; thence N.oo51 '54"W., 521.11 feet; thence N.45°0'O"E., 27.84 feet;
thence N.89°04'10"E., 141 feet; thence S.2°59'08"W., 41 feet; thence S.oo51'54"E., 589 feet
more or less to the south line of Huntington Avenue extended; thence S.89°08'06"W., 58 feet
more or less to the northeast corner of the Public Greenbelt within said Huntington Place;
thence N.83°02'08"W., 131.89 feet; thence N.oo52'05"W., 85.36 feet; thence S.66°56'20"E.,
32.58 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION II. The zoning of the land to R3M is conditioned upon the following: Residential
development on the site is limited to single or two-family dwelling construction.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
