ORDINANCE NO. 2006-309
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located at 4000
Kingsford Drive from Agriculture, to R1 with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS
FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from A, Agriculture, to R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District:
Part of the NE ~ of the NW ~, Section 16, T.3N., R.13E., of the 4th P.M., City of
Janesville Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Beginning at the SE corner of Lot 3, Certified Survey Map Document No. 1496252,
Volume 24, Pages 201-203; thence S.Oo03'15"W. 1055.16' along the east line of said
NE.1/4 of the NW.1/4 also being the north-south centerline of said Section 16, to the SE
corner of said NE.1/4 of the NW.1/4; thence N.87°36'1 O"W along the south line of said
NE.1/4 of the NW.1/4 659.94 feet to the SW corner of the east ~ of said NE.1/4 of the
NW ~; thence NOo02'20"E. 1055.20 feet along the west line of said E.1/2 of the NE.1/4
of the NW.1/4; thence S.87°34'50"E 360.22 feet more or less to the SW corner of Lot 1
of said Certified Survey Map; thence N.87°35'40"W 300.06 feet along the south line of
said CSM to the SE corner of Lot 3 of said CSM and the point of beginning.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
