Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building on December 26,
2005. The meeting was called to order by Council President Tom Wellnitz at 7:00 p.m. Breanna Addie led the
Council in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Council President Tom Wellnitz, Councilmembers Brunner, Brien, Williams, Tim Wellnitz and Addie.
Absent: Councilmember DeGarmo.
CONSENT AGENDA
Minutes of the special meeting of December 6, 2005
Minutes of the regular meeting of December 12, 2005
Minutes of the closed session December 12, 2005
Licenses; and Recommendations of the Alcohol License Advisory Committee
Financial statement for the month of November 2005
Authorization for the Administration to deny a liability claim for Linda Williamson, in the amount of $35,000.
Council President Tom Wellnitz stated the Consent Agenda would be approved if there were no objections.
There were none.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Requests and comments from the public regarding items on the Agenda not requiring a public hearing.
There were none.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Action on a grant application for the Traffic Signing and Marking Enhancement Program (TSMEP) from the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). Councilmember Brien moved to authorize the
submission of the grant application, seconded by Councilmember Brunner and passed unanimously.
2. Requests and comments from the public on matters which can be affected by Council action. Mike
Folkens, 2831 S. River Road, requested that the Council increase the quota for Class B-Beer alcohol licenses.
3. Matters not on the Agenda. There were none.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
