An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 331 South Crosby
Avenue from 113, General Residence District to B2, Community Shopping District with a
penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the
Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R3, General Residence District to B2, Community Shopping District:
PART OF THE SW. 1/4 SECTION 35 T.3N., R. 12E. OF THE 4TM P.M., CITY OF
JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the SW. ¼ of said Section 35; thence north along the west line of said Section
1191.93 feet to the point of beginning; thence east 165 feet; thence south 128 feet; thence west
165 feet to said west line; thence north 128 feet to point of beginning.
SECTION II: Rezoning of this property is subject to the condition that any garage area designed
for a commercial building and the associated service driveway to that facility shall be located on
the north side of the structure to minimize the any impacts associated with that use on adjoining
residential properties.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
