An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located southeast of Monarch
Drive from R1 and R3M to R1D, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation
thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R1, Single-family and Two-family Residence District and R3M, Medium Density
Residence District, to RID, Two-family Residence District:
PART OF THE NE. 1/4 OF THE NE. 1/4 OF SECTION 8, T.3N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TM P.M.,
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the NE comer of said Section 8; thence N.88°10' 15"W. along the north line of
said NE. 1/4 of the NE. 1/4, 155.48 feet to the place of beginning for the land herein described;
thence S.52°32'20"W. 1121.56 feet; thence S.89°17'15"W. 269.22 feet to the west line of the
NE.l/4 of the NE.l/4 of said Section 8; thence North along said west line 330.75 f~et; thence
S.23°01'55"E. 185.63 feet; thence S.88°56'30"W. 256.07 feet; thence N.l°03'30"W. 149.94 feet;
thence N.52°32'20"E. 627.39 feet; thence S.88°10' 15"E. 339.52 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
