2001-73ORDINANCE NO. 2001-73 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located along the proposed extension of Monarch Drive from R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District, and R3M, Medium Density Residence District, to R1D, Two-Family District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of thc Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District, and R3M, Medium Density Residence District, to R1 D, Two-Family District: PART OF THE SE.l/4 OF THE SE.l/4 OF SECTION 5 AND PART OF THE NE. 1/4 OF THE NE.l/4 OF SECTION 8, ALL BE1NG IN T.3N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the NE. comer of said Section 8; thence N.88°10'15"W. along the North line of the NE.l/4 of said Section 8, a distance of 495.06 feet; thence S.52°32'20"W. 87.6 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence continuing S.52°32'20"W. 539.79 feet; thence S.1°03'30"E. 149.94 feet; thence S.88°56'30"W. 256.07 feet; thence N.23°01 '55"W. 185.63 feet to the West line of the NE. 1/4 of said NE. 1/4 of said Section 8; thence N.0°45'20"W. along said West line, 391.92 feet to the SW. comer of Lot 42 of Walnut Grove Estates First Addition; thence S.88°10'15"E. along the South line of said First Addition and South line Walnut Grove Estates, 537.32 feet; thence N.52°32'20"E. along the Southeasterly line of said Walnut Grove Estates; 138.51 feet to the most Westerly comer of Lot 43 of said First Addition; thence S.37°27'40"E. along the Southwesterly line of said Lot and said line extended Southeasterly, 185.0 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION II: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
