An ordinance establishing the zoning classification of land located north of East Rotamer
Road along the planned extension of Wright Road to RI.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
established as R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District.
Part of the West ½ of the East ½ of the S W. 1/4 of Section 9 and part of the NW. I/4 of Section
16, all in T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4th P.M., Harmony Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, described
as follows:
Commencing at the South xA comer of said Section 9; thence N.89°49'W. along the South line of
the SW. 1/4 of said Section, 660.29 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be herein
described; thence S.2°02' 15"E. 33.02 feet to the existing North City limits; thence N.89°49'W.
along said North city limits, 660.03 feet; thence N.2°01 '40"W. 1617.92 feet to the SW. comer of
an existing 9.0 acre tract; thence S.89°49'45"E. along the South line of said tract, 659.99 feet to
the SE. comer of said tract; thence S.2°02' 15"E. 1585.07 feet to the place of beginning.
Containing 24.5 acres, more or less.
SECTION V. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
