An organizational meeting of the City Council of the City of
Janesville, held in the Municipal Building, April 19, 1994 at 7:30
a.m.
Councilmember Brien called the meeting to order.
Present: Councilmembers Stehura, Noll, Schneider, Brien and
Thomas.
Absent: Council President O'Leary and Councilmember Heitzman.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
Councilmember Stehura moved to nominate Councilmember Noll for the
position of Council President, seconded by Councilmember Schneider.
Councilmember Heitzman arrived at 7:32 a.m.
Council voted on the motion and it passed by the following vote:
Aye: Councilmembers Stehura, Heitzman, Schneider, Brien and
Thomas. Pass: Councilmember Noll.
Councilmember Noll established the new seating arrangement for the
Council, starting at the president's far left: Councilmembers
Stehura, Heitzman, Brien and O'Leary; and, starting from the
Council President's far right, Councilmembers Thomas and Schneider.
There being no further business, the Council adjourned at 7:34 a.m.
These minutes are not official until approved by the City Council.
