Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building on October
24, 2001.
The meeting was called to order by Council Vice-President DeGarmo at 5:05 p.m.
Present: Council Vice-President DeGarmo, Councilmembers Damron, Williams, Murphy, and
Steeber. Absent: Council President Brien and Councilmember O'Leary.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Review of Proposed 2002 City Budgets.
The City Council reviewed the following 2002 budgets: Police Department, Fire Department, Leisure
Services, Parks, Rotary Gardens, and Tallman House budgets.
During the review of the budgets, the City Council asked various questions. Councilmembers
DeGarmo and Damron requested the Administration provide information regarding beer sales at
Dawson Field.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Matters not on the Agenda.
There were none.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 8:04 p.m.
