Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville,
held in the Municipal Building 24 December 1990 at 11:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Collins.
Present: Council President Collins, Councilmember's Pierson,
McLean, Schneider, Stehura, Stockwell and Pulliam
CONSENT AGENDA
Minutes of the special meeting held 28 November 1990.
Licenses; and recommendations of the Alcohol License
Advisory Committee.
Financial statement for the month of November 1990.
Council President Collins stated that if there were no objections,
the Consent Agenda would be approved. There were no
objections.
Minutes of the regular meeting held 10 December 1990.
Councilmember Stehura moved to approve the minutes of the
December 10, 1990 regular meeting, seconded by Councilmember
Stockwell and passed by the following vote: Aye: Council
President Collins, Councilmembers Pierson, Schneider, Stehura,
Stockwell and Pulliam. Pass: Councilmember McLean.
(All applications of licenses are on file in the office of
the City Clerk and are incorporated by reference therein
and may be examined upon request at all reasonable times.)
OLD BUSINESS
1. Requests and comments from the public on matters which can be
affected by Council action. There were none.
2. A proposed resolution authorizing the sale of land in the
Kennedy Road Industrial Park to VNE Corporation.. Councilmember
McLean moved to adopt said resolution as presented, seconded by
Councilmember Schneider and adopted unanimously. (File

NEW BUSINESS
iA. Action on a motion to approve Certified Survey Map 90063-C,
Ryan Brothers, one lot located on North Pontiac Dr.
Councilmember Pulliam moved to approve Certified Survey Map
9OO63-C, seconded by Councilmember McLean and passed unanimously

lB. Action on a motion to approve Certified Survey Map 9OO60-C,
Donald Webb, four lots located on Holiday Drive. Councilmember
Pierson moved to approve Certified Survey Map 9OO60-C, seconded
by Councilmember Stehura and passed unanimously. (File CSM9OO60-
C)
lC. Action on a motion to approve Certified Survey Map 9OO65-C,
City of Janesville, one lot located on Randolph Road.
Councilmember Pulliam moved to approve Certified Survey Map
9OO65-C, seconded by Councilmember Stockwell and passed by the
following vote: Aye: Council President Collins, Councilmembers
McLean, Schneider, Stehura, Stockwell and Pulliam. Nay:
Councilmember Pierson. (File CSM9OO65-C)
iD. A proposed resolution approving the Final Plat of the Bluffs
of Wuthering Hills Second Addition. Councilmember Schneider
moved to adopt said resolution, seconded by Councilmember
Stockwell and adopted unanimously. (File Resolution No. 90-1329)
1E. A proposed resolution approving the Final Plat of Hollibush
Park North First Addition. Councilmember Stehura moved to adopt
said resolution, including the acceptance of $1,138 for monies
in-lieu-of parkland dedication, seconded by Councilmember Pulliam
and adopted unanimously. (File Resolution No. 90-1330)
2. A proposed ordinance annexing land located in the 3400 block
of Mineral Point Avenue, west of Parker High School, was
introduced by title only and scheduled for public hearing on 21
January 1991. (File Ordinance No. 90-703)
3. A proposed ordinance establishing the zoning classification
of land located in the 3400 block of Mineral Point Avenue, west
of Parker High School, was introduced by title only and scheduled
for public hearing on 21 January 1991 at 7:30 p.m. (File
Ordinance No. 90-704)
4. A proposed ordinance rezoning land located adjoining and
south of Newport Avenue, between Kennedy Road and Woodland Drive,
from R1 to B4 was introduced by title only and scheduled for
public hearing on 21 January 1991 at 7:30 p.m. (File Ordinance
No. 90-704}
5. A proposed ordinance rezoning land located adjoining and
north of Barberry Drive, between Kennedy Road and Woodland Drive,
from R1 to R3 and R1 to B4 was introduced by title only and
scheduled for public hearing on 21 January 1991 at 7:30 p.m.

6. A proposed ordinance rezoning land located north of Barberry
Drive, between Kennedy Road and Woodland Drive, from R1 to R3 and
RI to B4 was introduced by title only and set for public hearing
on 21 January 1991 at 7:30 p.m. (File Ordinance No. 90-707)
7. Matters not on the Agenda. Councilmember Pulliam and
Councilmember Schneider requested that Council President Collins
schedule Council's consideration of the Business Improvement
District's proposed 1991 budget for the 21 January 1991 Council
meeting, and that the Council President contact the BID Board in
order to determine an agenda for the Bid's proposed "special"
Council meeting and submit such agenda for Council's review prior
to 7 January 1991.
Council President Collins informed the Council that the alcohol
license held by the former owner of the Port of Mexico was
voluntarily relinquished.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
11:25 a.m.
These minutes are not official until approved by the City Council.
