Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville,
held in the Municipal Building 25 October 1990 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Collins.
Present: Council President Collins, Councilmembers Pierson,
Stehura, Stockwell and Pulliam.
Absent: Councilmember McLean.
Councilmember Schneider arrived at 8,20 p.m.
The following items of the 1991 Proposed City Budget were
reviewed by the Council, Public Works Administration, Waste
Management, Street Maintenance & Repair, Public Buildings,
Traffic Control, Leisure Services and Parks.
Councilmember Stockwell left the meeting at 8:30 p.m.
Council continued by reviewing the transit system. City Manager
Sheiffer asked for Council's direction relative to a trip route
or modification of the north side routes which would provide
services to the Rock County Home area. Councilmembers asked for
more information before giving its preference to the County
Board.
Other proposed budget items reviewed were, Water Utility,
Industrial Waste Disposal, Recycling, Vehicle Operation and
Maintenance, Technical Services, Other Engineering Services to
other accounts, and Capital Improvements. No action was taken by
the Council.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
9,40 p.m.
