Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held
in the Municipal Building, 24 October 1991 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Schneider.
Present: Council President Schneider, Councilmembers O'Leary, Noll,
Stehura, Collins, and Brien. Absent: Councilmember Pierson.
OLD BUSINESS
1. The Council reviewed the Community and Economic Development,
Planning, Code Administration, Police and Fire budgets.
The Manager informed the Council of a correction in the Economic
Development budget. Line item "Tourism Support" (Element cost,
Page 134) should read "Economic Development Initiatives" and
includes $25,000.00 to the Chamber of Commerce, allocated as
follows: Tourism Support, $14,000.00; Initiatives, $11,000.
Councilmember Stehura requested criteria be obtained in order to
evaluate the School Liaison Program.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Matters not on the agenda. None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:13
p.m.
