04-01-91SPROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN SPECIAL MEETING 1 April 1991 APPROVED 15 APRIL 1991 Vol. 41 No. 31 Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building 1 April 1991 at 5:20 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Council President Collins. Present: Council President Collins, Councilmembers Pierson, McLean, Schneider, Stehura and Pulliam. Absent: Councilmember Stockwell. OLD BUSINESS 1. Review of plans for the proposed City Services Center. City Manager Sheiffer introduced Roger Thompson, from the consulting firm of David M. Griffith, and Jeffrey Hazekamp, from Angus Young & Associates, to the Council. He stated that they were there to respond to any questions or concerns that the Council may have. They responded to questions in regard to: The floor plan of the building. The building's height in the vehicle repair shop. The difference between using one large crane and several smaller cranes. The use of columns in the building. The cost differential for expanding the repair shop and lowering the height of the ceiling. The visability of the building from Highway 51. After all the Councilmembers' questions were answered, the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m. These minutes are not official until approved by the City Council. Jean Ann Wulf City Clerk
