A resolution recognizing Jodi L. Athmann for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Jodi L. Athmann retired from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served Janesville residents and riders for more than 31 years, retiring as an Administrative Assistant in the Transit Division; and
WHEREAS, during Jodi L. Athmann's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Jodi L. Athmann began her career in public service in the Clerk-Treasurer's office in July, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Jodi L. Athmann held several positions in different administrative offices including part-time Switchboard Operator, part-time Clerk Typist I, Customer Service Representative, and Administrative Assistant; and
WHEREAS, Jodi L. Athmann was a recipient of the Mighty Oak Award in 2020, which highlighted her excellent job knowledge and customer service skills; and she was a member of the Janesville Transit Administration Team; and
WHEREAS, Jodi L. Athmann is involved in the community through volunteering on Election Day, COVID testing during the pandemic; she is a member of the Janesville VFW Women’s Auxiliary and volunteers at their bingo and fish fry fundraisers; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jodi L. Athmann for her more than thirty-one years of loyal public service.
