A resolution recognizing Rebecca Diedrick for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Rebecca Diedrick retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 31 years;
retiring as a Technical Services Manager with the Hedberg Public Library; and
WHEREAS, during Rebecca Diedrick’s employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the
duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Rebecca Diedrick began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Reference Librarian in November, 1994; and
WHEREAS, Rebecca Diedrick was a recipient of the Mighty Oak Award in March 2020;
and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Rebecca Diedrick for her more
than thirty-one years of loyal public service.
