An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located 265 E Memorial
Drive from M1, Light Industrial District, to R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence
District with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section
42-332 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from M1, Light Industrial District, to R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District.
LOCATED IN THE SE ¼ OF THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 25, T3N, R12E OF THE 4TH PM, CITY
OF JANESVILLE, COUNTY OF ROCK, WISCONSIN DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: The East
132’ of Lot 1, Block 2 of Highland Park Addition of the City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin. Also includes one-half of the public right-of-way of East Memorial Drive and Harding
Street adjoining the above-described property.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
