A Resolution acknowledging the Common Council's review of the Compliance Maintenance
Annual Report of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville is required by State regulation to annually prepare a
Compliance Maintenance Repo11 that describes the physical conditions and performance of the City's
wastewater treatment and collection facilities; and,
WHEREAS, as pai1 of the repo11 preparation process, the Department of Natural Resources of
the State of Wisconsin (WDNR) requires the Common Council to adopt a resolution acknowledging that
it has reviewed the Compliance Maintenance Annual Rep011 (CMAR); and,
WHEREAS, the Utility Director has submitted the Compliance Maintenance Annual Rep011 of
the City of Janesville Wastewater Treatment Plant and Utility Operation, dated May 18, 2026, to the
Common Council for its review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Janesville that
it has reviewed the aforementioned Compliance Maintenance Annual Report and finds that no action by
the Cornn1on Council is necessary at this time to maintain compliance with current effluent limitations
or system operations.
