A resolution recognizing Barbara J. Seichter for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Barbara J. Seichter retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 26 years,
retiring as an Accounting Clerk in the Finance Office; and
WHEREAS, during Barbara J. Seichter’s employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with integrity, skill, ability, sincerity,
honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Barbara J. Seichter began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
part-time Switchboard Operator/Cashier in the Clerk Treasurer’s Office in September,
1999; and
WHEREAS, Barbara J. Seichter held several positions in different administrative offices
including Switchboard Operator/Cashier, Customer Service Representative, Customer
Service Specialist, Property Assessment Clerk, Property Appraiser 1 and Accounting
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Barbara J. Seichter
for her more than twenty-six years of loyal public service.
