A resolution recognizing David L. Wreford for his employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, David L. Wreford retired from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years;
retiring as a Custodian with the Hedberg Public Library; and
WHEREAS, during David L. Wreford’s employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, David L. Wreford began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Custodian in December 1998; and
WHEREAS, throughout his 27 years of service, he has been a major reason that Hedberg
Public Library always looks its best; he has been recognized by his co-workers with multiple “I Made It Happen” awards for going above and beyond; and David has consistently proven himself to be a dependable and conscientious employee; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, David L. Wreford has adapted to the
changing needs of both the community and the building he has faithfully served; and
WHEREAS, David L. Wreford was a recipient of the Mighty Oak Award in September 2022; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to David L. Wreford for his more
than twenty-seven years of loyal public service.
