A resolution recognizing Jane E. Burr for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Jane E. Burr retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years,
retiring as a Records Clerk with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Jane E. Burr’s employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
WHEREAS, Jane E. Burr began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Records Clerk with the Janesville Police Department in January 1999; and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, Jane E. Burr was assigned to the A Shift
and B Shift and was appointed to the Commendation Committee; and
WHEREAS, Jane E. Burr was awarded the Civilian Employee of the Year in 2006 and
2020; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jane E. Burr for her
more than twenty-seven years of loyal public service.
