1989-10-26 Special MeetingPROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN SPECIAL MEETING 26 October 1989 Vol. 40 No. 16 Approved I 1-13-89 Special meeting of the City Council of the Citv of Janesville held in the Municipal Buildina 26 October 1989 at 6:58 D.m. The meetina was called to order by Council President Stoc.L-well. Present: Council President Stockwell, Councilmembers Pierson, Collins, Stehura, McLean and Schneider. Absent: Councilmember Pulliam. OLD BUSINESS 1. The Council reviewed the Public Works and Leisure Services Budgets. During the review of these budgets, Councilmembers requested the following information: 1) Councilmember Pierson reauested information on " every other side" of trash collection. 2) Councilmember Stehura requested that sicns be erected at the demolition site to advise the public that they do not need to stop at the main landfill stationhouse first. 3) Councilmember Stehura reauested financial information on the landfill closure and long-term care. 4) Councilmember Pierson reauested information on the cost of an additional residential sweeDina. 5) Councilmember Stehura reauested information on how an FTE is calculated. (6) Councilmember Collins reauested that we revaluate our signalization pattern on Milton Avenue. 7) Councilmember Pierson reauested information on the blueprint machine proposed in the engineering budget. 8) Councilmember Stehura reauested the administration to look into the feasibility of Durchasina used computer equipment. City Manager Sheiffer stated the administration would send a map of the Monterev Bridge area and coordinate tours of the Tallman House for the Council. Councilmember Collins requested that he not receive information on the Superfund. Councilmember Collins left at 10:02 D.m. NEW BUSINESS No one spoke on "Matters not on the Acrenda".
