PUBLIC WORKS BID SCHEDULE D-2022
The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the
following listed Public Work:
C2022-9 Traxler Park Roadway Improvements – For furnishing all the labor, materials,
equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and completion
of approximately 3,400 S.Y. asphalt pulverizing; 4,000 S.Y. asphalt milling; 700 C.Y.
unclassified excavation; 2,100 TON aggregate base; 330 L.F. PVC storm sewer with
structures; 1,500 L.F. concrete curb and gutter; 1,900 TONS asphalt paving; 1,000
S.F. concrete sidewalk; 4,000 L.F. acrylic pavement markings; 350 L.F. of electrical
conduit; 1,100 L.F. of electrical wire; 2 aluminum street light poles, screw in bases,
mast arms, fixtures; 1,200 S.Y. lawn restoration; and miscellaneous construction

C2022-11 Arbor Ridge Lift Station – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and
doing all the work necessary for construction of a new precast concrete sanitary
sewer wet well, new precast bypass valve vault manhole, new piping and valves,
new submersible pumps, hatches, new sanitary sewer force main, sanitary sewer
connection, discharge structure modifications. Work includes all associated
foundation excavation, concrete pad installation, electrical, instrumentation,
SCADA controls, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, site grading,
dewatering, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, concrete driveway
installation, curb and gutter, sidewalk installation, turf restoration as specified

C2022-12 Metropolitan Area Network Phase 6 – For furnishing the labor, materials,
equipment and doing all the work necessary for the extension of the City’s fiber optic
network to connect two municipal facilities. Project consisting of the following approximate
quantities: 31,000 L.F. of 2” dia. SDR11 duct installation with fiber, 22 Handholes, interior
work, 24 Indoor & 828 Outdoor Splices and Power Meter & Light Source/OTDR Bi-
directional testing. Quest Project Number 8177150.
Confidential bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME ON WEDNESDAY, THE 4th DAY OF
MAY, 2022. All bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding
ONLY -- the online bid portal will be open for vBid by April 29, 2022. No paper bids will be
accepted. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract document’s Section 2 ‘Information

to Bidders’. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be
performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk.
The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer,
subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid
or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the
bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the
date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such
contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be
forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.

Janesville web site. www.janesvillewi.gov/bids. The download cost for each contract is $30.00 by

If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as
on file in the City Clerk’s Office.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
