PUBLIC WORKS BID SCHEDULE “A” – 2021
The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the
following listed Public Work:
C2021-1 Curb & Gutter and Sidewalk Replacement – For furnishing all the labor,
materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and
completion of approximately 45,900 LF curb & gutter replacement; 78,400 SF
sidewalk, curb ramp and driveway approach replacement; 160 SY full depth
concrete pavement patching and grass terrace restoration. Quest Project Number

C2021-2 Water & Sewer System Improvements I – For furnishing all the labor, materials,
equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction of the following
approximate quantities: 7,700 LF of 6”-8” replacement water main; 100 LF of new
8” sanitary sewer; 400 LF of 12” replacement storm sewer; replacement of 25
lead/steel water services; replacement or rehabilitation of 100 sanitary structures,
water valve structures, storm structures, and storm inlets; and associated street and
non-paved surface restoration. Quest Project Number 7466409
C2021-3 New and Replacement Sidewalk – For furnishing all the labor, materials,
equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and completion
of approximately 6,000 SF of new concrete sidewalk and 6,500 SF of replacement
sidewalk in various locations throughout the City, including associated restoration.

Confidential bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME ON WEDNESDAY, THE 27th DAY OF
JANUARY, 2021. All bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding
ONLY -- the online bid portal will be open for vBid by January 22th, 2021. No paper bids will be
accepted. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract document’s Section 2 ‘Information
to Bidders’. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be
performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk.
The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer,
subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid
or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the

bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the
date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such
contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be
forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.

If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as
on file in the City Clerk’s Office.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
