CD PART 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - Schedule F November 13,2019 PART #1 CITY OF JANESVILLE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PUBLIC WORKS BID SCHEDULE “F” – 2019 The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2019-15 Ice Age Trail Bridge Replacement – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the installation of a 70’ x 12’ single span prefabricated bridge kit purchased separately by the city; which work shall include removal of the existing 50’ x 10’ timber trail bridge structure with timber support piling; excavation; supply and placement of heavy rip rip; reconstruction of asphalt bridge approaches; restoration; and incidental construction. Quest project #6590686 C2019-16 East Side Town Square Improvements – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the base bid construction of approximately 9,000 square yards of pavement and sidewalk removal; 25,000 square feet of colored and standard concrete sidewalk; 2,200 square yards of non-reinforced concrete pavement; 1,400 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter; 1,800 square feet of cast stone pavers; 800 linear feet of storm sewer with structures; 500 linear feet of cable railing; street and pedestrian light fixtures; electrical conduit and wiring; 500 linear feet of cast-in-place reinforced wall cap; various seating and street scaping furnishings; landscaping and lawn restoration; and incidental construction with river wall repair alternative items. Funding assistance for this project provided by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Grant Program. Contractors are encouraged to procure services, materials, or subcontract a minimum 5% of the total amount bid to one or more certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Contractors are encouraged to make every effort possible to employ workers and subcontractors from the local Janesville and Rock County labor force. Quest project #6590799 C2019-17 Oakhill Cemetery Road Improvements – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary to reconstruct approximately 1,230’ of paved roads within the Oak Hill Cemetery including approximately 800 CY of unclassified excavation, 1,700 T of crushed aggregate base course, 2,000 SY of geotextile fabric, 430 T of asphalt pavement, and 600 LF of asphalt wedge curb.
