11 X 17 Maps: Construction Round 1 and 2 Block Analysis Ranking Map (Zones 1 and 2);
All Sidewalk Analysis Ranking Map (Zones 1 and 2); School and Population Density
Analysis Map (Zones 1 and 2); Retail and Public Facilities Analysis Ranking Map (Zones 1
and 2); and Transit Route Stops Analysis Map (Zones 1 and 2).
Carl Weber’s July 2, 2012 memo to the City Council entitled, “Report from Sidewalk Task
Force Committee and possible action on suspended 2012 sidewalk program”.
A discussion ensued about the sidewalk filters (side of street – two, one and, if one, which side;
connectivity to existing sidewalk; cost vs. benefit – looks at physical barriers which may increase
construction cost; property owner and neighborhood preferences; and common sense) and that
they were not applied to the 2012 sidewalk program. Committee will discuss and define sidewalk

filters at the July 11 meeting.
The committee chose to remove the following sidewalk sections from the Sidewalk Priority Ranking

Table dated June 27, 2012 and discuss the status of these sections at their July 11 meeting:
