Members Present: Sue Wesson, Dave Wesson, Rachel Joffe, Trevor Wallace,
Dave Ellis, Bob Weilbrenner, and Gregg Davis

The meeting was called to order at 5:17PM by Chairperson Sue Wesson in the 1 Floor
Conference Room of the Municipal Building.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Dave Wesson and seconded by Rachel Joffe to approve the minutes of

the April 18, 2012 meeting. This motion passed unanimously.
Club Reports
Football – Dave Wesson stated that Youth Football registration will take place on Thursday,

May 31 at Franklin Middle School. Registration will also be available online. New weight
scales have been purchased for next season.
YMCA – Trevor Wallace informed the Committee that Rachel Joffe will be leaving employment
with the YMCA and a new member will be appointed. Tee-ball and baseball programs have
over 300 participants registered for summer play.
Rock Soccer – Bob Weilbrenner reported that In-house soccer is finished the end of May.
Soccer camps will be held this summer and fall leagues will begin in August.
JYBSA –Lycon Concrete is working on concrete construction, ramps, etc. Dave Ellis stated that
they are working with the Police Department and City Administration on parking issues. They
will be allowing people to park on a portion of the grass at the Youth Sports Complex.
Discussion of Keys for Pavilion/Concession Stand Building
Rebecca Smith shared with the Committee that a Rock Soccer coach suggested the
storage/bathroom lock be re-keyed. The Committee consensus was that coaches need to be
responsible for maintaining their key presence for each practice/game. Staff is open to the
groups installing a key lock box but City Administration does not want the lock re-keyed.
Matters Not on the Agenda
Bob Weilbrenner and Sue Wesson asked that the insurance billing address be updated to each
group’s respective PO boxes. Dave Ellis commented that the recycling bins have no tops.
Comment was made that there is no recycling being done on the YMCA and Youth Football
fields. Trevor Wallace asked if any groups have adopted any new concussion related practices.
Rock Soccer will be discussing this matter at their next meeting.

The Committee decided to skip the meetings on June 20 and August 15 and have a meeting
thst
on July 18, 2012 at 5:15 PM in the 1 Floor Conference Room of the Municipal Building.
With there being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:50 PM on a motion by Dave
Ellis and seconded by Trevor Wallace.
