Members Present: Dave Ellis, Trevor Wallace, Gregg Davis, Sue Wesson,
Dave Javan, Rachel Joffe, and Bob Weilbrenner

The meeting was called to order at 5:16 PM by Chairperson Sue Wesson in the 1 Floor Conference Room of
the Municipal Building.
Approval of Minutes
th
A motion was made by Dave Ellis and seconded by Dave Javan to approve the minutes of the August 17
meeting. This motion passed unanimously.
Election of Officers
A motion was made by Dave Ellis and seconded by Bob Weilbrenner to nominate Sue Wesson as Chairperson
of Youth Sports Coalition for 2012. This motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Gregg Davis and seconded by Dave Javan to nominate Bob Weilbrenner as Vice-
Chairperson of the Youth Sports Coalition for 2012. This motion passed unanimously.
Club Reports

Football - Sue Wesson reported that the sprinkler system will be winterized on October 31, 2011. The week
thnd
of October 17 is the last week of football games. Equipment must be turned in on Saturday, October 22,
2011.
Baseball/Softball – Dave Ellis reported that the season is over. They have received many compliments on the
new facility. Youth Baseball will be hosting 8 weeks of tournaments in 2012 and two State tournaments.
YMCA – Rachel Joffee reported that flag football and soccer will end on October 22, 2011.
Rock Soccer – Bob Weilbrenner stated that soccer season will be over at the end of October. There were 13

teams that participated this past season. Spring registration will be October 24, 2011. They anticipate 250
participants in the in-house program this year.
List of Adverting Specifics
Rebecca Smith reminded the Committee that the City needs a copy of their advertising agreement, per the
advertising policy. She also reminded Rock Soccer that they need to stain their signs darker. Bob
Weilbrenner agreed to do it in the Spring of 2012.
Matters Not on the Agenda

The next meeting will take place on March 21, 2012. It was decided that at that meeting the composition
(number of members) of the Committee will be discussed.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:50 PM.
