1. Kristin and David Woodbeck, owners of 137 South Ringold Street, are requesting a
variance from the Zoning Ordinance Section 18.32.030 A. in order to retain an
existing 6-foot tall wood privacy fence located within the corner side yard setback
facing St. Lawrence Avenue. The code requires that fences within the corner side
yard be set back at least 25 feet from the property line fronting a street and the
subject fence is setback 15 feet from the property line.
2. Hooters Real Estate, LLC, owner of property located at 3300 North Pontiac Drive is
requesting a variance to Sign Ordinance Section 14.28.030 A. in order to install a 54
square foot monument-style ground sign in front of the building. The code allows only
one ground sign and there is an existing interstate sign on the rear of the lot.
3. Richard Donahue, owner of 1506 Highland, is requesting an appeal of an
administrative decision regarding an Order-to-Correct issued against the property,
which pertains to the exterior finish of the house. Housing Ordinance Section
16.08.300 requires all exterior surfaces to be maintained in a workmanlike state of
maintenance and repair.
(This matter has been addressed by the Appellant and the case will not be heard.)
