Advertisement For Bids Schedule D REVISED 26 June 2012 PART #1 CITY OF JANESVILLE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PUBLIC WORKS BID SCHEDULE “D” – 2012 The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive sealed bids for the following listed Public Work: C2012-12 TALLMAN HOUSE IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE III – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the historically accurate restoration and repair of approximately: 600 S.F. wood porch deck and all other wood porch components; 500 S.F. membrane roofing; 50 L.F. hydraulic lime mortar joint repointing; supply and install interior motorized chair lift; upgrades and ADA modifications to public restrooms including four new fixtures, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and interior wall modifications; and incidentals. (Quest #2086965) C2012-13 SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the excavated repair, replacement, or abandonment of approximately 10 (8”-10” diameter) sanitary sewer and manhole locations; the excavated replacement of approximately 375 L.F. of 12”-18” storm sewer; approximately 375 L.F. of 8” sanitary sewer; and associated street and non-paved surface restoration. Box 5005, Janesville, Wisconsin, 53547, and enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, marked with the name and address of the bidder and contract title for which the bid is being submitted. All bidders shall bid in accordance with, and shall bid upon, the bid forms included in the Contract Documents. Bids will be opened in the Council Chambers at 2:01 P.M. on the same date. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. No bid will be read or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted.
