NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion and possible action on extending Rockport Pool for two
additional hours and extending the Wading Pools for two additional
hours.
2. Authorize to allow the Janesville Questers submit a grant application for
restoration of doors for the Tallman House.
3. Award of contract 2011-13 (Tallman House roof, soffit & chimney historic
restorations) for Public Works Bid Schedule C-2011.
4. Action on a proposed resolution authorizing the sale of land to Wisconsin
Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to accommodate the State
Highway 26 Corridor Expansion Project (North Wright Road overpass).

5. Action on Council President recommended citizen appointment to the
Historic Commission.
6. Introduce a proposed project plan for Tax Increment Finance District No.
35, land located at the southwest corner of STH 11 and Beloit Avenue,
and refer to Plan Commission for a public hearing.

7. Introduce and schedule a public hearing on a proposed ordinance
prohibiting the possession of any firearm in any City building or
structure except as allowed by law for sworn law enforcement and peace
officers, with penalties for violations thereof as set forth in JGO.

affected by Council action.

10. Consideration of a motion to convene into closed session pursuant to
Wisconsin Statute Section 19.85 (1) (c), for the purpose of considering
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of
any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction
or exercises responsibility. This is the annual evaluation of the City
Manager’s performance for the previous year.
The use of audible cell phone ringers and active use and response to
cellular phone technology by the governing body, staff and members of
the public is discouraged in the Council Chambers while the Council is in
session.
