VISION CHARACTERISTICS: Good. GRADE & GEOMETRICS: Moderate slopes at this right-angle intersection. UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS: Edison Middle School located two blocks north and Lincoln Elementary School located three blocks west. City bus route travels eastbound to northbound through intersection. The intersection does not meet our entering or volume split criteria for an all-way stop and has been operating very safely. In addition, observations of the intersection during peak hours did not reveal any significant operating or safety problems.
